Michigan leads Purdue early in the second quarter

Michigan leads Purdue 14-0 early in the second quarter Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium.

The Wolverines have had a lot of success on the ground, gaining 93 yards. Michigan scored on a 1-yard run by Fitzgerald Toussaint.

Michigan held the ball for more than 12 minutes in the first quarter. Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson rushed for 64 yards in the quarter. Toussaint had 13 rushing yards.

Purdue ran just six plays in the quarter. Purdue quarterback Caleb TerBush is 1 for 2 for 4 yards.

Michigan made it 14-0 with another 1-yard touchdown run by Toussaint with 14:28 left in the second quarter.
