Boyd, Stutzman agree to debate Oct. 19

Rep. Marlin Stutzman, R-3rd, and Democratic challenger Kevin Boyd have agreed to debate on Oct. 19.

The debate will be 7 to 8 p.m. at the Rhinehart Music Center at IPFW.

The sponsors are IPFW and its Mike Downs Center for Indiana Politics and WFWA PBS 39, which will televise the debate.

Jeanette Dillon, formerly with Northeast Indiana Public Radio, will be the moderator. She and IPFW political science faculty will provide the questions for the congressional candidates, Downs Center Director Andy Downs said Tuesday.

The event, which will be in the Rhinehart Recital Hall, is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 6 p.m. No one will be admitted after the doors close at 6:45.
