3 accused of killing 1 toddler, critically wounded another

TOLEDO, Ohio – Three men in northwest have been charged with aggravated murder in the fatal shooting of a 1-year-old girl who was sleeping in an apartment.

A grand jury on Wednesday indicted the three on several other charges in the Toledo shooting that also critically injured the little girl’s 2-year-old sister.

Police said they believe the shooting was gang-related. The incident occurred in early August near downtown Toledo.

Media reports said the three men who were indicted face up to life prison if convicted.
