Howard returns to Ants

What would a Mad Ants season be without the main Ant?

We won't have to find out any time soon because Ron Howard, the all-time scoring leader who has been a part of the team since its inception in 2007, will be back for the 2012-13 NBA Development League season.

The team recently announced that Howard will return to the Mad Ants, who begin their sixth season Nov. 23 when the Ants face Erie.

Howard, a 29-year-old 6-foot-5 guard, has been a staple with the team. Last season he played in 31 games and averaged 17.5 points and 4.1 rebounds.

For his career in a Mad Ants uniform, Howard has played in 168 games and averaged 16.3 points and 3.9 rebounds.
