Deer on U.S. 20 cause car to flip

A northwest Ohio driver trying to avoid deer in the roadway was flown to a Fort Wayne hospital early Friday after his car overturned on U.S. 20.

The Williams County Sheriff’s Department said Robert A. Gray, 25, of the Pioneer area, was going east on U.S. 20 about 2:15 a.m. when his 1998 Pontiac swerved to miss the deer west of County Road 4, went off the road and overturned at the ditch.

Gray was listed in fair condition Friday afternoon at Parkview Hospital.
