Purdue tied at end of first quarter

Saturday's game between Purdue and Wisconsin is tied at 7 after the first quarter at Ross-Ade Stadium.

Purdue wasted little time as quarterback Caleb TerBush completed a 52-yard pass to Antavian Edison on the first play from scrimmage. The completion put the ball at Wisconsin's 1. TerBush scored on the next play on a 1-yard run.

Wisconsin marched down the field on its first drive. Wisconsin quarterback Joel Stave had plenty of time to throw during the drive. He completed a 21-yard pass to an open Jacob Pedersen for a touchdown to tie the game.

TerBush was 5 of 9 for 78 yards and one interception in the quarter. Stave was 5 of 8 for 63 yards and the one touchdown.

Wisconsin rushed for 79 yards. Purdue had 25 rushing yards.
