Wesley is a 2-year-old neutered black and tan shepherd-husky mix.
He is a large dog.
“Hi! My name is Wesley! I was originally adopted from the Allen County SPCA then ended up at Animal Care & Control. Since my family did not come to claim me I am back at the Allen County SPCA searching for my perfect forever home!
“I am such a sweet boy who is looking to please. I am very affectionate and already know some commands! I do well with my housebreaking but may need an adjustment period when I come home with you.
“The staff recommends that you crate me while you are gone to help with the transition of a new home. I need a home with a fence or trolley for daily exercise. The staff feels I would do well with children of all ages as long as they treat me nicely. I do well with other dogs and even cats!
“If you are looking for a sweet and loving friend please come visit with me today!”
He is available for adoption at the Allen County SPCA, 4914 Hanna St.
The shelter is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
