An already-convicted sex offender was sentenced Friday in Allen Superior Court to 11 years in prison for another case of child exploitation.
Bradley Peaver, 34, of New Haven was arrested in August on charges of child exploitation, multiple counts of possession of child pornography and a single charge of possession of marijuana or a synthetic.
A girl, known to Peaver, told her mother that Peaver took pictures of her while she was naked when they went fishing together.
She told police that Peaver videotaped her while she was going to the bathroom in a weedy, wooded area near the pond.
As part of the plea agreement reached with prosecutors, Peaver pleaded guilty in Allen Superior Court to one count of child exploitation and a charge of possession of child pornography.
Allen Superior Court Judge Fran Gull sentenced Peaver to eight years in prison on the first charge and an additional three years on the second charge. She ordered the sentences to be served one after the other.
In 2009, Peaver was sentenced to two years in prison after he was convicted of videotaping a naked 6-year-old girl. He had been out of prison less than 10 months before he committed the new crime, according to DOC records.
