Mayson Whitman scored four times and added an assist as Bishop Luers girls soccer team won the Class A regional championship 9-1 over Oak Hill at Canterbury.
Kelly Dwire had a hat trick for the Knights.
The only goal for the Eagles came from Caroline Wickes on a penalty shot, after a handball. Her shot rang off the post and went in during the first half, but Luers scored seven unanswered goals.
Addie Reimbold had two goals. Luers will play Saturday at the Argos Semistate.
Boys cross country
CULVER REGIONAL: Warsaw won with 21 points, led by Jacob Poyner (15:54.4), Ellis Coon (16:00.5) and Robert Murphy (16:01.4), who finished in the top three. Rochester was second with 68 points.
MARION REGIONAL: Huntington North won with 73 points, paced by Cordell Lewis third-place time of 16:25.21. Northfields Caleb Augustus won in 16:01.37.
Girls cross country
CULVER REGIONAL: Eastern won with 28 points, and Warsaw was second with 42. Ashley Erba of Warsaw had the top time – 17:12.5.
MARION REGIONAL: Huntington North won with 42 points. Its top finisher was Kayla Patrick, who took fifth at 19:25.12.
Football
LEO 56, BLUFFTON 14: A week after losing its first conference game since 2008, the Lions recovered by walloping the Tigers at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Rance Harris rushed 15 times for 80 yards and two touchdowns and was one of five different Lions with rushing TDs. Trey Phillips had a 42-yard punt return for a touchdown and a 14-0 lead for Leo (7-1), which lost 20-6 to Garrett on Oct. 5.
For Bluffton (5-4), Malcolm Marshall completed 17 of 22 passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns.
Boys soccer
CANTERBURY 3, WEST NOBLE 0: Britt Watts scored twice, Cole Walker added a goal and Chase Walker had four saves to lead the Cavaliers (13-6-1) to the Class A Garrett Regional title. For West Noble (15-5-1), Jose Acevedo and Jesus Villa had three shots apiece.
