Keeper honored

IPFW's men's soccer team won a match and, along the way, won an honor.

Goalkeeper Brandon Cloutier, thanks to his shutout performance in goal that helped the Mastodons to a 1-0 victory over Omaha, was named Summit League Defensive Player of the Week.

Whiile the win was the first of the season for IPFW, the Summit League honor was the second for Cloutier, who had three saves. He also had seven saves in IPFW's 2-0 loss at Northern Kentucky.

The Mastodons (1-12-1) will face Bowling Green on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Hefner Soccer Complex.
