Golson cleared to pracitce

Notre Dame quarterback Everett Golson will return to practice today.

Golson suffered a concussion on a helmet-to-helmet hit in last Saturday's win over Stanford, and as of Tuesday, he had not passed a cognitive test to be cleared to practice.

The school announced this afternoon that Golson passed the final test he needed to return to practice as the No. 5 Irish (6-0) prepare to play host to BYU (4-3) on Saturday.
