Still scoreless

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Komets and Kalamazoo Wings are scoreless after two periods at Wings Stadium.

And while the goaltending has been good at both ends, this score has been more about the Komets' inability to finish on their chances.

They have outshot the Wings 26-12; it was 22-7 at one point. The Komets have been controlling the play.

But they had a breakway and Matt Kennedy whiffed. They had a 3-on-1 and didn't get a shot or a pass off.

That's not good.

This feels like one of those games the Komets will let slip away because they didn't finish Kalamazoo early.
