Mason needs a home

Mason is a 2-year-old neutered red Irish setter mix.

“Hi, my name is Mason! I was brought in because my family said if the gate was left open at home I would run out ... what can I say, I am just an explorer!

“Aren’t I so handsome? I am such a happy and playful guy!

“I do well with my housebreaking but may require a transition time when I come home with you. The staff recommends you crate train me to help me with the change. I will require a fence or trolley so I can exercise safely and would also love to take daily walks with you so we can go explore the neighborhood together!

“The staff feels I would do well with children of all ages as long as they are gentle with me. I don’t seem to mind other dogs or even cats.

“If you are looking for a sweet and handsome boy to add to your family please ask to play with me today!”

He is available for adoption at the Allen County SPCA, 4914 Hanna St.

The shelter is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
