Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly reportedly made his decision on who will start at quarterback against BYU today.
Tommy Rees will start for the No. 5 Irish (6-0), according to a report from the Chicago Tribune, which cited multiple unnamed sources.
Notre Dame has not officially announced who the starter will be against the Cougars (4-3).
Everett Golson, who started five of six games this season, suffered a concussion last week against Stanford. The sophomore didn't pass all of his post-concussion test until Tuesday and didn't start practicing until Saturday.
Kelly said the starting quarterback would be a gametime decision today, and that he would prepare Rees, Golson and Andrew Hendrix to play.
