K’s forward Chris Auger is out for the season

The Komets announced Monday that Chris Auger will be sidelined for the rest of the season due to an injury sustained against Evansville on Saturday night.

A torn ACL was detected and reconstructive surgery is necessary, the Komets said, adding that Auger will be recovering the rest of the season. – Anne Gregory, filling in for Justin on this one
