    The IPFW women's soccer team (1-6) fell 3-0 at Oxford, Ohio to Miami. Kelsey Dinges scored for the RedHawks in the 25th minute from a free kick deflection to give the hosts a one-goal advantage at halftime.

Mastodons second in Dayton

IPFW's men's golf team finished second behind Summit League rival Oakland in the Dayton Flyer Invitational that ended Tuesday at the NCR Country Club.

The Mastodons, who were tied with Western Kentucky for first place following the first day, finished with a two-day total of 588, 10 shots behind Oakland.

IPFW bettered its first round score of 295 by two shots on Tuesday.

Drew Imel shot an even-par 71 to finished tied for seventh individually with teammate E.J. Tackett, who had a 73 Tuesday. Both finished with 3-over 145s.

Other IPFW scores were Jacob Groninger, 76-73 – 149; Bruno Carvalho, 73-76 – 149, and Patrick Kundenreich, 77-77 – 154.
