About game-worn jerseys, yearend auction

The ECHL has renewed its partnership with the MeiGray Group, which sells game-worn jerseys of league players, and that had caused some Fort Wayne fans to worry that a longtime tradition was coming to an end because of an exclusivity agreement.

Not the case, Komets president Michael Franke said today: The Komets' annual end-of-season party and charity jersey auction will go on.

"The jerseys at this season's auction will be the ones worn from January through the end of the season," Franke said.
