About game-worn jerseys, yearend auction

The ECHL has renewed its partnership with the MeiGray Group, which sells game-worn jerseys of league players, and that had caused some Fort Wayne fans to worry that a longtime tradition was coming to an end because of an exclusivity agreement.

Not the case, Komets president Michael Franke said today: The Komets' annual end-of-season party and charity jersey auction will go on.

"The jerseys at this season's auction will be the ones worn from January through the end of the season," Franke said.

Fans wanting to preorder game-worn jerseys sooner, through MeiGray, should visit www.MeiGray.com, email sales@meigray.com or call 888-463-4472.
