The Komets just played a hideously poor period. They trail the Gwinnett Gladiators 2-1 after the first at Memorial Coliseum.
Evan Bloodoff scored twice, including once on a power play, and it could have been worse since Marco Cousineau made some terrific saves.
The Komets' goal came from Brandon Marino on a redirection.
I'm not convinced Gwinnett is all that good; the Komets just played horribly in that period.
