Scouting report: The three points Trine scored in its 10-3 loss at Adrian last week were the fewest since a 14-0 loss to Wheaton in the first round of the 2008 NCAA Division III playoffs. The Thunder managed just 76 yards rushing and 199 total yards. Michael Inge leads the running backs with an average of 52.3 yards per game, while quarterback Ryan Hargraves averages 155 yards passing. JaVontae Hence continues to be Trines major receiving threat with 49 receptions for the season and an average of 80.4 yards per game. Hope is led by quarterback Michael Atwell, who averages 222.6 passing yards and has 14 touchdown passes this season. Seven receivers have caught 10 or more passes from Atwell this season. Last week, Hope defeated Kalamazoo 30-7 for its third consecutive win.
