Warsaw falls in title match

INDIANAPOLIS – Warsaw lost in the Class 2A boys soccer state championship 1-0 to Columbus North on Saturday at IUPUI.

The second-ranked Tigers finished the season 13-9-2, but lost on the field only twice because of seven forfeits.

Columbus North's Brad Shaw first-half goal was the difference.

The No. 6 Bull Dogs (17-1-4) were the 2011 2A state runners-up.
