Mastodons win, secure seed

Danielle Bishop scored on a rebound of her own penalty kick in the 73rd minute today to hand IPFW's women's soccer team a 2-1 win at Hefner Fields over IUPUI.

Bishop scored both goals for IPFW on a day when the Mastodons (9-7-1, 5-2-1 Summit League) secured their first winning record since 2003, and tied the season record for wins (9) that was also set that year.

They'll be be the No. 2 seed in the Summit League Tournament next weekend, facing North Dakota State in the first round.
