  • Clarke is K's Mr. Steady
The Komets rely on their veterans to temper the enthusiasm of the highs and get through the frustration of the lows. And no one in the locker room is more even keel than Aaron Clarke, a 31-year-old forward.
  • Royals bolstered
The Reading Royals' lineup was bolstered today, as Dustin Gazley was sent down by Hershey of the American Hockey League. He had eight goals and 15 points in 42 games with Hershey.
  • A Brittain story
Josh Brittain is looking forward to being back at, as he called it, “The Jungle” on Thursday for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals.

Raffle coming up

In case you haven't heard, I am doing Movember, along with some of the Komets.

Click here to read more about my effort to raise money for prostate and testicular cancer awareness.

To help encourage you to give to this cause -- click here to see my Movember page and make a contribution -- I'm having a raffle of mostly Komets-related items. (Make SURE you note you are donating to me and not the team so I can keep track.)

The following are some of the items that I will raffle on Nov. 15, and I will add more along the way, so keep checking back. For every $10 you contribute to me, you will get one entry in the raffle. So, the more money you spend, the better your chance of winning something. But remember, it's about the great cause more than anything. It's funny to me how hard it is to raise money for this important cause.
