Missing Ohio boy found dead, hit-and-run suspected

LOGAN, Ohio (AP) — A 15-year-old southeastern Ohio boy missing since Thursday has been found dead from an apparent hit-and run incident.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office said Austin Houser's body was found in a roadside ditch Saturday night. Deputies believe he was struck by a vehicle that then fled. Authorities say they have recovered the vehicle they suspect was involved and were working with the prosecutor's office on the investigation.

The Columbus Dispatch reports a school bus driver said he dropped off the boy at his house after school on Thursday.

Logan is about 55 miles southeast of Columbus.
