Scouting report: Both teams are coming off some of their best performances of the season. Two weeks after scoring a season-low three points, Trine exploded with its biggest offensive output of the year in a 45-28 victory over Hope. JaVontae Hence had 304 all-purpose yards, which included an 82-yard kickoff return and 175 receiving yards. Hence tied an MIAA record with a 93-yard touchdown reception. … Though winless in eight games, Olivet lost last week to Albion 21-15. Olivet averages 99.5 yards rushing, and its quarterback, Tony Phillips, averages nearly 104 yards passing. He has four touchdown passes and seven interceptions.
