Purdue dropped its fifth straight game, falling to Penn State 34-9.

Key sequence: Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin a 42-yard pass to Brandon Moseby-Felder. The next play, Michael Zordich scored on a 6-yard run to give the Nittany Lions a 10-3 lead. Penn State led the rest of the way.
