The Boilermakers (3-5, 0-4 Big Ten) begin November with Robert Marve at quarterback. Marve replaces Caleb TerBush, who started the last seven games. Marve has thrown for 597 yards this season. He'll going against a Penn State team that ranks fourth in the Big Ten in total defense.
Purdue's defense will be challenged going against a strong passing offense. Penn State (5-3, 3-1) quarterback Matt McGloin leads the Big Ten in passing averaging (264.4 yards per game). McGloin has 2,115 passing yards and 16 touchdowns. Wide receiver Allen Robinson has 52 catches for 631 yards and eight touchdowns.
