Men's volleyball schedule announced

Two at home, two on the road, and the IPFW men's volleyball season is under way.

The 2013 schedule was recently announced, and the Mastodons will begin their season with Jan. 11 and 12 home matches against Saint Francis (Pa.) and Cardinal Stritch. That will be followed with matches at Sacred Heart and New Jersey the next weekend.

IPFW will open its MIVA schedule at home Feb. 1 and 2 against Lindenwood and Quincy, and then comes a six-match road swing that will keep the Mastodons away from the Gates Center until Sacred Heart and Penn State visit March 8 and 9.

Penn State was in last year's Final Four, losing to UC Irvine in the first round.
