Dwenger cheerleaders win state title

The Bishop Dwenger cheerleaders have once again won the 3A division state title in the Indiana Cheer Championship.

On Saturday, the cheerleaders took their third straight varsity title in their division, according to their coach and the competition’s Facebook page.

The freshmen and junior varsity teams from Dwenger also state champ honors.

Woodlan earned fourth place in the co-ed division, Concordia received seventh place in the 3A division and Carroll received sixth place in the 4A division, according to an announcement sent out by Amy J. Gonzagowski, head cheer coach at Dwenger.
