Police seek public’s help in armed robbery

FORT WAYNE – City police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery Friday night at a Fort Wayne Walgreens store.

A man with a gun went in to the store at 1701 E. Paulding Road shortly before 8:20 p.m., approached the cashier at the counter, displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the register.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as being in his middle 30s, about 6-foot-5 and was last seen wearing glasses, a ball cap, brown hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
