Fairfield Avenue closure begins

FORT WAYNE – Fairfield Avenue is closed to all traffic at Lexington Avenue beginning today and will continue for two weeks, weather permitting.

The Traffic Engineering Department announced Thursday that the closure will allow the contractor, All Star Construction, to install a storm sewer across Fairfield at Lexington Avenue.

The official detour uses Rudisill Boulevard, Old Mill Road and Pettit Avenue.
