The Komets extended their winning streak to five games, defeating the Evansville IceMen 5-2 at Memorial Coliseum on Friday night.

Josh Brittain scored twice -- he has six goals in the last seven games -- to pace the Komets. They also got a goal from Jean-Michel Rizk, who has scored in four straight games, as the Komets won the 4,500th game in franchise history.
