Bible bracelet leads to robbery arrest

CINCINNATI – Police in Ohio say a bracelet bearing a citation for a Bible verse helped lead to a robbery suspect.

The Cincinnati Enquirer (http://cin.ci/RN4zZU) reports that Amberley village police in suburban Cincinnati say a bracelet’s imprint on a recovered stolen SUV showed the numbers “6:10” and letters. Police said a hint from an officer’s family member led them to a chapter and verse in the book of Ephesians.

They say they later saw a rubber bracelet on a man they were questioning about some robberies and he identified the writing on it as Ephesians 6:10. Police believe the suspect left the imprint while leaning on the vehicle.

Police arrested that suspect and another in the July robbery of the SUV’s owners. Both have pleaded not guilty to charges including aggravated robbery.
