IU trails Wisconsin at halftime

Wisconsin leads Indiana 24-7 at halftime Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

The Hoosiers offense, which was sputtering for most of the afternoon, got going late in the second quarter. Ted Bolser played a major role. First, he made a one-handed catch and then he caught a 6-yard TD to get IU within 17-7.

It looked like that would be the score heading into halftime. Wisconsin faced a third-and-16 at its own 31. Running back James White was bottled up near the line of scrimmage. He found a hole and took off 69 yards for a touchdown with 13 seconds left in the half.

Wisconsin has 264 rushing yards. Montee Ball has 104 yards and one touchdown. White has 103 rushing yards.

Cameron Coffman and Nate Sudfeld saw time at quarterback for IU in the first half. Coffman was 13 of 23 for 113 yards and one touchdown. Sudfeld was 0 of 1.
