JEERS to the driver of the vehicle that hit the dog on Bethel Road and didnt stop on Oct. 29. CHEERS to the vehicles that stopped so I could help the injured dog to the side of the road. Unfortunately, she was severely injured and Animal Care and Control had to put her down because she had no collar or microchip. Also, JEERS to the vehicles that didnt slow down or at least move over while I knelt beside her trying to comfort her while waiting on Animal Care and Control. Thank you to the two other compassionate people who offered to stay with the dog so I could continue on to work.
