An Allen Superior Court jury Thursday evening convicted a Monroeville man of molesting a young girl.
Wayne Wasson, 32, was charged in May with Class A felony child molesting, two Class C felony charges of child molesting, a Class D felony charge of sexual battery and three misdemeanor charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
According to court documents, Wasson hung out with two girls, both younger than 18, one night a year ago and provided them with moonshine, vodka and wine. He then molested one of the girls, who was 13 at the time. Sentencing is next month.
