Zach Benedict, partner at Morrison Kattman Menze Inc., will speak at the annual Indiana Library Federation Conference “Stepping Forward, Digging Deeper” on Tuesday in Indianapolis and has an article titled “Cities Matter” in the October issue of Fort Wayne Monthly magazine.

Keli Kostoff was named executive assistant to the chancellor at IPFW. Kostoff was previously in the Alumni Relations office at the school.

The Fort Wayne Fazoli’s team from the store at 439 Coliseum Blvd. W. that included Ryan Powell, Melissa Smith and Janelle Lero, and was coached by Kent Kops and Sarah McKee, won the company’s national “Pasta Bowl” competition in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Mark Cox Jr. joined D&D Associates as senior programmer. Cox will work in implementing voice disaster recovery solutions for business phone systems.

Ruoff Home Mortgage announced that Nancy Cady was the top loan originator for its North office and Kelly Barile for the Southwest office for October.

Brigadoon Financial hired Dave Pine as purchasing manager. Hotel Fitness, a division of Brigadoon Fitness, hired Haley Nancarrow as a customer service representative.

The winners of Fort Wayne Newspapers’ third-quarter Above and Beyond awards were Deb Stuerzenberger for leadership initiative and Lisa Edwards for outstanding performance.

Mike Wakeland joined Lutheran Life Villages as chaplain. Wakeland was previously senior pastor at New Life Lutheran Church.

Jesse Howard was promoted to project manager at Fetters Construction Inc. Howard was previously an assistant project manager.

John Bry has resigned as executive director of the Noble County Convention and Visitors Bureau effective at the end of the year. Bry, who plans to pursue a master’s degree and other personal goals, was hired in December 2009.

David M. Mustard joined Kos & Associates as an associate attorney. Mustard will focus his practice on creditors’ rights, bankruptcy and commercial law.

Linda A. Johnston was promoted to vice president, private banking manager at Tower Bank. Johnston has been with the company since 2009.

The League for the Blind & Disabled announced its board of directors and officers for 2013. The officers are: M.
