More transition members named

Governor-elect Mike Pence has appointed more members to a transition team focused on the hiring and logistics of a new administration.

The new members are:

  • Gary Hobbs: Entrepreneur Gary Hobbs is the President of BWI, a development, property management and construction management company in Indiana. Hobbs worked for AT&T, Eli Lilly, and Roche Diagnostics prior to starting his own company.
  • Ryan Kitchell: Chief Financial Officer at IU Health and President of IU Health Plans Ryan Kitchell has extensive administrative experience in state government. He served as public finance director and director of the Office of Management and Budget under Governor Mitch Daniels.
  • Fred Klipsch: Businessman Fred Klipsch served as chairman and CEO of Klipsch Group, Inc. for 22 years and currently chairs the School Choice of Indiana and the Educational Choice Charitable Trust. He recently served as Treasurer for Pence's campaign for governor.
  • Jim Morris: President of Pacers Sports & Entertainment Jim Morris has extensive experience in both business and government. He served as chief of staff for Mayor Richard Lugar, president of Lilly Endowment, and executive director of the United Nations' World Food Programme.
They join Lt. Governor-elect Sue Ellspermann, Earl Goode, Lt. Governor Becky Skillman, Bill Smith and Van Smith on the transition team.
