Main Street closure scheduled

The Journal Gazette

FORT WAYNE – Main Street is scheduled to close to all through traffic between Jefferson Boulevard and Leesburg Road for several hours.

The closure will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, the Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department announced.

Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.

A new fire protection service and water tap will be installed, the department said.
