Key matchup: Who’ll guard Frank Gaines? The 6-foot-4 senior guard from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., scored a career-high 32 points in IPFW’s season-opening loss at Auburn. Because he is long and athletic and has the ability to take the ball to the rim, Gaines will be a matchup problem for most teams this season in the Summit League.
The skinny: This will be Rochester’s eighth game. It played Lawrence Technological University on Monday night. The team from Rochester Hills, Mich., lost at Kent State, 77-71.
