Body found in Mich. IDed as missing LaGrange woman's

PALMYRA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Southeastern Michigan authorities say a body found near a farmer's field has been identified as belonging to a 58-year-old Indiana woman who disappeared in September after a trip to Ohio.

The Daily Telegram of Adrian, Mich., reports that dental records confirmed Tuesday that the body found Friday is that of Catherine Sackrider of LaGrange County, Ind.

Lenawee County Sheriff Jack Welsh says the autopsy was inconclusive on a cause of death. He says her death is under investigation as suspicious.

Authorities say Sackrider was last seen Sept. 18 after visiting her daughter in Sylvania, Ohio. Sackrider's pickup truck was found in the Toledo suburb Sept. 25.

The sheriff's department has said a farmer spreading lime on a corn field In Palmyra Township spotted the body near an unused barn.
