Angola house fire traced to bedroom

Firefighters extinguished a blaze in the bedroom of an Angola home Thursday evening, according to the Angola Fire Department.

Fire crews were dispatched at 6:35 p.m. to 908 Belfast Drive. Before they arrived, police officers helped a person evacuate the home.

Firefighters went inside and put out flames in a rear bedroom. No injuries were reported. The fire, which caused about $1,000 in damage, remains under investigation.
