Well, it’s finally over, even though the presidential election didn’t come out as it should. At least Indiana as a whole this time didn’t support the Democrat. You should know though, that if you voted for President Obama or against Mitt Romney based on the Democrats’ campaign commercials, well, your vote was based on lies. How do you like that?
After listening to and reading what the 20-somethings and 30-somethings are saying about their perception of this country and the rest of the world, it’s obvious that most everything they think they know is based on lies they’ve been fed, and that’s how they voted. And to those of you who did vote for Obama, tell me, just what was it you were expecting from his re-election? Well, let me tell you what you can expect.
Don’t like the gas prices? Just wait, Obama wants them higher. Don’t like your electric bill? Just wait, Obama said it’ll go higher. Don’t like the grocery prices? Just wait, they’ll go higher too. Think your health insurance, if you have it, is expensive now? Just wait, it’s going up. More and more employers are already saying they’ll cut their insurance or cut their employees back to part time because it’ll be too expensive under Obamacare which, thanks to his re-election, will be in full force in 2014. What, didn’t know that? You thought it was going to be free? Don’t like your taxes? Just wait until your first paycheck next year, if you get a paycheck. On Jan.1, there are something like 14 new taxes that take effect just related to Obamacare, not to mention the 16,000 new IRS agents that are part of Obamacare. What’s up with that?
And just wait until you see how he stacks the Supreme Court. I hope you’re not too much in love with the U.S. Constitution as it was written.
Want worse? The lower tax rates that went into effect during George W. Bush’s presidency are set to go back up Jan. 1 too, and this will affect everyone. Have a 401K where you work, if you’re lucky enough to have a job? Well, its value took a big hit the day after the election when the U.S. stock market went down more than 300 points. Hmmm, doesn’t sound too promising, does it? This is barely the tip of the iceberg, and this is going to hurt those of us that didn’t vote for him too, you know.
What, you say you didn’t know all this stuff before you voted? In part, you can thank the major news media outlets for intentionally keeping you in the dark, but there were many of us who tried to warn you. But hey, don’t get mad at me, I’m only the messenger, and I didn’t vote for him, either time.
