Albion teen 'fair' after Noble crash

An Albion teenager was in fair condition at a Fort Wayne hospital Tuesday following a Monday traffic accident on the way to Central Noble schools.

Samantha Carter, 18, was at Parkview Regional Medical Center, where she had been flown by helicopter after the 7:45 a.m. crash.

Carter was driving north on Long Lake Road and stopped at Noble County Road 100 North, then collided with a minivan as the car entered the intersection, the county sheriff's department has said.
