Gunman robs Arby’s on Bluffton Road

An armed man held up an Arby’s over the weekend and took cash from registers and a safe, authorities said.

On Saturday morning, the man came into the restaurant at 6759 Bluffton Road, near Lower Huntington Road, carrying a handgun and wearing a black ski mask, the report stated.

After demanding money from an employee, he fled out a back door with an undisclosed amount of cash, the report stated.

The holdup was reported at 5:40 a.m. The robber was described as 6 feet to 6-foot-1, 225 to 250 pounds, stocky and black. He wore a black, hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white sneakers.
