Update: About 50 Wawasee students, three bus drivers injured, but only one injury is serious; victims treated at hospitals in Warsaw, Goshen and Fort Wayne.A pickup truck with eyeballs drawn into the headlights and about 600 aluminum wheel rims were taken in an early morning heist at a New Haven company, New Haven police said.
The burglary between 4 and 6 a.m. Wednesday at Economy Auto Parts in the 5100 block of Old Maumee Road was carried out by five people, according to a statement issued by the New Haven Police Department.
It said the two-tone gray Chevy S-10 truck with the distinctive headlights has a trailer hitch.
There is a video with the suspects’ two trucks, described by police as a 1990s Chevy Silverado extended-cab pickup and a newer Chevy Silverado extended-cab pickup pulling a small wooden trailer.
