Leo and IPFW graduate Cameron Newbauer on Monday was named women's basketball coach at Belmont University, the Nashville, Tenn., university has announced.ST. Purdue (4-0) led 16-13 midway through the first half before going on a 23-6 run to close the period and take control of the game. Houser had five points during the burst as the Boilermakers led 39-19 at the half.
Marist fell to 2-2.

VCU 78, No. 19 MEMPHIS 65: In Paradise Island, Bahamas, Treveon Graham scored 26 points and Rob Brandenberg added 15 to lead VCU (3-1) to an upset. Adonis Thomas had 19 points for the Tigers (2-1).
