INDIANAPOLIS -- Through three quarters now, and Snider's hanging in. But it's becoming apparent Lawrence Central has more questions than the Panthers have answers.
The Bears lead 26-14 after three and are inside the Snider 20 again as the quarter ends. Snider drove inside the Lawrence Central 20 to start the second half, but Brandon Phelps' throw into triple coverage was picked off and run back 38 yards, and the Bears capitalized to go up 20-7. Then, after a Snider 3-and-out, Isaiah Townsend broke a 64-yarder down the sideline to make it 26-7.
Snider answered with a scoring drive of its own spearheaded by Je'Norie Smith's read option keepers at quarterback. But if it comes down to the Panthers having to outscore Lawrence Central the rest of the way, it doesn't look good for Snider.
