Snider should have its leaders on offense and defense in the starting lineup tonight in the Class 5A state title game at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Panthers (14-0) play top-ranked Lawrence Central (14-0) in the state finals finale and quarterback Brandon Phelps and defensive tackle Weston Painter will be in the lineup despite recent injuries.
Phelps sprained his ankle in a 42-39 win over Merrillvillle in the semistate. He was in a walking boot for part of the week, but has participated fully in practices the last couple of days.
Painter tore his ACL three weeks ago and missed the regional win over Fishers, but played against the Pirates last week. He didn't start last week, but should be in the first unit in the 5A state title game.
Phelps is an IPFW baseball recruit, while Painter is headed to Indiana State to play football.
