Grain futures mostly rise, beef prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures mostly rose Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 1.25 cents to $8.49 a bushel; December corn rose 1.75 cent to $7.4725 a bushel; December oats slipped 0.25 cent to $3.6875 a bushel; while January soybeans rose 6 cents to $14.2475 a bushel.

Beef futures fell and pork futures were flat on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle fell 0.55 cent to $1.2840 a pound; January feeder cattle fell 0.52 cent to $1.4735 a pound; while December lean hogs were flat at 82.47 cents a pound.
